Fees Overview
A clear breakdown of our session fees.
Session Fees
Ordinary session fees are:
$240 for Registered Psychologist* (50 mins)
$285 for Clinical Psychologist* (50 Mins)
Psychological reports, Assessments & other services attract separate fees, please discuss these with your psychologist or reception if applicable.
Psychologist health services are not subject to GST however other services provided by psychologists may attract a GST.
Medicare Rebates

Better Access
Patients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under the Better Access initiative.

Getting a Plan
A Mental Health Treatment Plan is prepared by your GP and is required to access a Medicare rebate under Better Access. Speak to your GP if you don’t yet have one.

Do you bulk bill?
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please make every effort to notify PHC 48 hours or more in advance of your appointment if you cannot attend.
To cancel or rearrange an appointment, please call PHC on (08) 9275 9406. If no-one is available to take your call at the time, please leave a voicemail send us an email to info@psychologicalhealthcare.com.au.
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your session ordinarily, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $140. This fee represents the ordinary out of pocket amount once the Medicare rebate has been applied.
If you do not attend your session without giving notice to PHC, ordinarily, you will incur a cancellation fee of the full session amount of either $240 or $285 dependent on services.
Can I claim through private health insurance?
This depends on your individual policy. Check with your provider.
